You’ve probably guessed it. We’re a little bit into music.
So, we built the sound system we actually wanted to listen to.
At the heart of it are a pair of enormous JBL 4355 Studio Monitors, backed by turntables, amplification and some very serious gear.
Yes, they’re ridiculous.
That’s kind of the point.
Tuesday Listening Sessions
TWO ALBUMS. FRONT TO BACK. EVERY TUESDAY.
Tuesday nights are for listening properly.
Each week we choose two records worth giving your full attention to. Before each one, our host gives a short introduction, why we chose it, why it matters and why the two records belong together.
Then the needle drops.
8:00PM — ALBUM ONE
9:10PM — ALBUM TWO
Lights down. Drinks poured. The albums play in full.
Come early for a snack, stay for both records, or drop in for a drink and listen from the lounge.
While the records are playing, we switch to our Listening Menu, drinks chosen to keep the room quiet. No shakers, no blenders, no unnecessary noise.
The bar stays open. We just turn down everything except the music.
Some weeks will be classics. Some cult favourites. Some records you may not know yet.
No shuffle. No skipping. Both sides.

Bitches Brew is a beautiful chaos pulsing with the electric voodoo of an urban fever dream. Distorted trumpets and hypnotic, dual-drum grooves collide with mystical keys to create a revolutionary soundscape—a daring, psychedelic journey through the outer realms of jazz.
WEEKEND VINYL LUNCH SESSIONS
MUSIC UP. LUNCH LONG.
Saturday and Sunday afternoons at PIER are for long lunches, cold drinks and records.
Every weekend, DJs, collectors and guest selectors take over the turntables, playing vinyl through the PIER sound system while the kitchen keeps the food coming and the bar keeps the drinks flowing.
No dance floor. No nightclub at lunchtime. Just good records, good food and nowhere else you need to be.
Come for lunch. Stay for another bottle. See where the afternoon goes.
